The Four Founders
Roo, BigBaby,
Mike_the_Yack, and Triple6 were members of the F.E.A.R. clan in Medal of Honor
Allied Assault: Breakthrough Demo. After butting heads (to say the least) over
some player treatment issues with the leader of F.E.A.R., the four decided to
make a new clan that valued the player above other things.
A Clan Was
Born
Triple6 and Roo came up with a name and BigB and Mike agreed;
we would be known as the Random Acts of Violence Brotherhood or RAoV for short.
Our original tags were .:RAoV:. and we played MOHAAB Demo. Our first recruit was
Anthony.
Clan Relations
Shortly after we began we merged
with Ghost clan which was a mainly dutch clan who left its brothership with
F.E.A.R. over the same issues as RAoV did. We gained Mr.X and Simpson from Ghost
and those guys were awesome. [HI] clan was run by Izzo and Hurricane Iniki. We
have always had good relations with HI. They helped us set up servers and do all
the technical stuff. However there was alot of bad blood between F.E.A.R. and
RAoV.
F.E.A.R. and RAoV constantly crashed each others servers the instigator
and main aggressor of this whole stupid fiasco was F.E.A.R. That is not to say
that we didnt do any damage to them but our attackes were most always
retaliatory. We wanted to play fair, have fun and be left alone but the leader
of F.E.A.R. couldnt let things be.
F.E.A.R. gained a new brother clan called
{WsM} or Wicked Silent Murderers led by Kyle and our current member MeatHead.
F.E.A.R. lied about RAoV members and convinced WsM that RAoV was full of hackers
and cheaters. WsM's relationship with RAoV was started under false pretenses so
after WsM realized what we had realized about F.E.A.R. they started to quietly
distance themselves from F.E.A.R.
RAoV moved from MOHAAB Demo into MOHAAS
Full and things went well and peaceful for awhile. We gained members and learned
alot. Joe and Roo (moslty Joe) did all the technical stuff with the servers and
the website and whatnot. Joe kept the clan going financially as well. Then we
hit some rocky roads. Two former members (who dont deserve to be named now)
instigated a split from RAoV into a new and rather short lived clan called IHoP
in the three or four month absence of some of the leading members. When these
key members came back and found out what happened, they convinced most of the
guys to return to RAoV and made sure that the ones that caused the damage would
be permanently banned from our ranks. After this event the clan grew weak and
few while moral dwindled.
The Dormancy
Around spring of
2006 (I'm not exactly sure but I think thats right) RAoV went dormant and most
of its members joined WsM, who had completely turned around their attitude about
RAoV. All former RAoV members were welcome to join WsM without tryout.
WsM
kept the RAoV spirit alive untill the return of some of the older members of the
RAoV clan and the relations between all WsM members stagnated. Members began to
leave and playing just wasnt as fun for some reason for everyone in WsM. With
WsM dying rumors were going around that Roo and some others were going to bring
RAoV back. This rumors were not unfounded.
The
Awakening
RAoV was back but regretably this also resulted in the
death of the beloved WsM clan. RAoV appreciates what MeatHead, Joo, and WsM did
for them and welcomed MeatHead, Joo, and others gratefully into it's ranks when
WsM went south. RAoV changed its tags, bought a server, and ran until now.
They phased away from MOHAAS in favor of Battlefield 1942 and then
COD4.
We are now moving into Team Fortress 2 and beyond.

History We started out as any clan would, a new clan, full of kids with ambition. Well not so much kids, as some of us were older, but still those with ambition. Starting in the year of 2004, 4 years ago, a new clan was born, Random Acts of Violence. Immediatly we had started off with the brotherhood, as those leaders had stamped the statement into all of the brother's heads. We in fact, were a clan for the ages. We, the members still look to those founders as legends to us, and it is an excitement to see these founders come around every once in a while. Thanks are those that we give to the members we will never forget, such as Burly, BigBaby, and Roo As we will Never forget them. Don't be mistaken though, they are not gone, they are only waiting for their comback, and we will wait for them
